Blue Door Nursery

The Blue Door Nursery is family owned, family run nursery, which has been serving the community in Seaford for over 20 years. We provide exemplary care for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years. We consider the needs of our families to be paramount so we offer fully inclusive pricing, flexible session times and a home-style cooked meal at lunchtime. We have a huge indoor area and 3 separate, secure, gardens outside including a large grassy field.

Early Years Entitlement

Consumables and Trips

These are not included in the government funding and will be charged extra on the fully funded sessions (Free options 1 and 2) unless you provide your own consumables and decide that you do not wish your child to access any trip off site.

*Consumables: you will need to provide for your child – all food/snacks, suncream, nappy cream, wipes, nappies and specialised art resources (we will let you know as these become required).

**Trips – these are trips that involve more than stepping outside the nursery or walking round the block. They do not include trips to the shops, the beach, the park, the pond, Forest School or Nova House, which generally happen during the morning sessions.

Autumn term funding (14 weeks) 7/9/26 to 18/12/26

Re-open at 7.30 on Monday 4th January

Spring (11 weeks) 4/1/27 to 25/3/27

Summer (13 weeks) 12/4/27 to 16/7/27

Half term week 31st May to 4th June

Summer holidays 19th July to 6th September 

38 weeks total funding
We offer flexible sessions for the 30 hour entitlements for eligible children

Opening Hours

The Blue Door Nursery is open from 7.30am to 6pm
We have a range of session times available with start times between 7.30am and 9.30am and finish times at 1pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, 5pm, 5.30pm and 6pm.
The Blue Door Nursery is open 51 weeks per year.

We are closed at weekends, Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year and we close at 1pm on Christmas Eve.
