Blue Door Nursery

The Blue Door Nursery is an Ofsted approved 'Outstanding' Nursery. We are family owned and we provide exemplary care for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years. We consider the needs of our families to be paramount so we offer fully inclusive pricing, flexible session times and a home-style cooked meal at lunchtime. We have a huge indoor area and 3 separate, secure, gardens outside including a large grassy field. All you need to provide is your child!

Early Years Entitlement

Autumn term funding (14 weeks) 9/9/24 to 20/12/24
Half term week 28th October to 1st November

Christmas holidays 23rd December to 3rd January

Spring term funding (11 weeks) 6/1/25 to 28/3/25
Half term week 17th to 21st February

Easter holidays 7th April to 21st April 

Summer (13 weeks) 1/4/25 to 18/7/25

NB. There is one week of funding before the Easter holidays

Half term 26th May to 30th June 

Summer holidays start 21st July

38 weeks total funding
We offer very flexible sessions for both the 15 hour and 30 hour entitlements for eligible children aged 2,3 and 4 years old

Opening Hours

The Blue Door Nursery is open from 7.30am to 6.30pm
Morning sessions - 7.30 am to 1.00 pm , 8.00 am to 1.00 pm, 8.30 am to 1.00 pm or 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Afternoon sessions - 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm, 1.00 pm to 5.30 pm, 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm or 1.00 pm to 6.30 pm
The Blue Door Nursery is open 51 weeks per year.

We are closed on weekends, bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year and we close at 1pm on Christmas Eve.

We close for two half day INSET sessions each year
